Ciscovery (“Cis”+ “Discovery”) Bio is a Philadelphia-based Rutgers University biotech spinoff. As a non-coding genomics company, we experimentally discover cis-regulatory modules (CRMs), the major class of functional DNA elements in the non-coding genome, and develop applications of CRMs for improving human health. Our CRM-based approaches empower gene therapy, drug development, and precision medicine by providing a unique solution to each sector, respectively: (1) precise expression of therapeutic genes, (2) comprehensive profiling of drug candidates, and (3) systems-level prediction of drugs’ effects.
